MMPC || Self Portrait Finalist

Hey everybody :)
This week has been an exciting week for me and my family! My little brother's (Garrett) birthday was on Wednesday! And my other little brother's (Nate) is on Saturday! It's the birthday week :D
Last week I only got 4 entries for self portrait, and when i posted the theme my mom said "I bet you're going to get like 10 entries!" Haha good guess mom :)

MMPC || Self Portrait

Hello everyone :)

Hope you guys had a good weekend! My weekend has been..catching up on school, reading, and..yup that's pretty much it! Oh and we went our friends house on Saturday :D
So the theme this week is..

SELF PORTRAIT!
Yes, that means a picture of YOU :)

As a photographer I know that I barely have any pictures of myself, so finding a decent picture of me was definitely a mission! But here is my entry-

This is picture of me and Kingy (who is like one of the coolest little kids ever!)

It feels good to be fifteen!

Yesterday {the 14th} I turned 15! It was my first birthday to be celebrated in Uganda :)

But sadly my mom & dad both got sick :( So we opened presents, sung happy birthday, and made yummy brownies {Thanks Danika for the yummy recipe!}, and then i told them both to take a nap! But it was a very, VERY good birthday! They did their best to make it a good birthday for me WHILE being sick, and i'm very thankful to have such an AMAZING family!

For the past week i've prayed that God would let it rain on my birthday! And our house-help laughed at me, and i told her "It's going to be God's birthday present for me! He's going to let it rain." So on the 14th i waited and waited, and the dark clouds rolled in, and God gave me a rain shower for my birthday! So this morning when Mama Benna (our house-help) came over, she started laughing and she said "God gave you what you wanted!"
