Friday Foto Edits

This week i've decided to enter Kelly-Marie's Friday Foto Edits challenge!

So here is my before and after :)


BEFORE-



AFTER-

All I did for this picture was use Presets Heaven's B&W beach preset and I turned the exposure down a little bit :)

This picture was taken while we were in Jinja! Our hotel was RIGHT on the Nile! It was SO beautiful! And the restaurant at the hotel was wonderful! We had a beautiful view and it was open air! It was really pretty :)
I'll post more Jinja pictures next week after my blog changes ;)

Hey everyone!
How was your weekend?? Mine was really good :) We stayed at our friend's house while the parents were gone over night! And last week we spent 2 days in Jinja! It was so beautiful :D I'll post pictures later in the week.

Hey! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Tomorrow my family and I make our way to Kenya (please pray that we won't have to go, and just get our visas stamped in Jinja!) That's all we have planned for the week! And we're going over to our friend's house on Friday :) Pretty exciting right?!

Capture Gratitude 1-5

Every week Mandie posts her Capture Gratitude list. Last week my mom and I decided to begin capturing gratitude. It really makes you look and be thankful for the little things!

For those of you who know, our water has been out for a month. So my dad called the water company and they said that they aren't going to fix the water until the road is fixed next to our home. Now 3 weeks ago a bulldozer came tearing through the road next to our house, it took down trees and totally destroyed the road next to our home, and apparently they broke a water pipe..so until the road is fixed we aren't going to have any water...and from what we've heard, that could be in 2 months OR MORE!
So when my mom and I decided to do capture gratitude, it was really hard for me to be thankful for anything..but i learned that having you water out isn't THAT bad! I mean I wouldn't choose for it to happen, but if it happens i can live with it! I prayed that God would help me keep my eyes open, and look for things to be thankful for.

Today I...

.....made myself a new notebook! My old has been filled up with thoughts, stories, and drawings..so i decided to make a cover for my new black notebook :)

Here is the before picture:

And after!

All i did was cut the color strips from a paint sample thing and glued them onto my notebook, then i made this flower pattern :) And tada!
